103 degrees on an August afternoon, what a wonderful time for tractor pulling. The truck got stuck turning around on my narrow drive, 2.5 hours later, after disconnecting the trailer and digging he was back on the road. :)

I now have 62,658 pounds of pavers to start a fall project. Don't need a gym here in the country.:D

Wow! Nearly 63,000 lbs of pavers? Holy Moly, that makes the 12,000 lbs of flagstone that I've been working on seem like a picnic. What are ya gonna do with all those pavers?

Maybe he's going to pave the drive so trucks don't get stuck! :D

Good Mornin Don,
I would think it might be fun to use the tractor to get the truck unstuck..... but not when its 103 degs !

So Don, you know your going to have to start another thread on where all those pavers are going ! ;)

Yes Don, like Scotty said a new thread will be expected!:D:D

Scotty, I think you are correct that does look a lot like Harv's rig that Jim is attemping to "extract" from it's stuck position!:D

Yep, that is Lucy, but that is not me on that tractor. It's txdon at about the same angle as his picture of him pullin' on the Acme Brick truck. His place is/has been very dry this year and I suspect that Acme truck was stuck in sand. Lucy was stuck in mud after she sank below the dry surface crust.

I had the same thing happen when I had my B7500, me and the driver was supprised that little tractor could have helped in any way.
If he would have listen to me he wouldn't have got stuck but he's the profesional driver not me....

GaryM the pavers required to pave my 1/2 mile driveway would be about 50 truckloads. The pavers will pave the driveway of our rural/retirement home near the front door only. The dry sand is just as bad as mud. It has been a busy summer for the Kubota. I have pulled/push out five stuck trucks. I will start a new thread when I start to lay the 10,443 pavers. (My arms hurt just typing that number)

Looking forward to it Don. BTW, have you started to build the home yet? If I remember correctly, after you sold and moved the cabin, you guys were going to temporarily move into the guest house. Sounds like retirement is "working" out for you!:D

Don, looks like our situation! We've got distant but good neighbors. FYI, since I saw your cabin move thread I've been planning a similar house. I really like the way you built it with the breeze way and just the neede amount of space. Thanks for sharing.

Jay
