Tractor Over Heated

So I just got a bill in the mail for what I thought was warranty work on the tractor - replacement of defective rad. They are billing me for labour and travel time. I have no problems with the travel time but under the warranty it states labour is covered. I will be calling the dealer in the am...

1. General Warranty This general warranty applies to KIOTI products for the following periods. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase and is activated by receipt of an executed Warranty Agreement.
PRODUCT TERMS OF WARRANTY COVERAGE
Tractors 24 months Parts and Labor
Front-End Loaders, Backhoes and Implements 12 months Parts and Labor
Replacement Parts 3 months or the remainder of the unit warranty, whichever is longer Parts only
Replacement Engines 12 months Parts and Labor

I hope they just made a mistake with their paperwork. You previously advised that they told you the repair was under warranty. How can it be covered and then not???

Accounting screwed up...

The labour is covered but they worded the invoice to show labour and to give a lower per mile service fee. It is still cheaper for them to charge me mileage than to have me ship the tractor to their shop. Although it is a little cheaper based on mileage - I proposed we split the difference. So the new invoice will show no labour but a mileage fee with a discount.

I also just dropped another $300 dollars while we were on the phone for a quick attach front fork item... so in the end both of us are happy.

I realize the warranty for 2 years ends in 5 months. After that it will be a different story.
