tractor king 200
This tractor runs great. I recently had an issue when in drive, I step on the clutch the tractor continues in gear for about 3-5 seconds before disengaging. At the same time I started having issue with getting in gear and having gear grind when engaging. I checked Transmission fluid level next to shifter, which looked ok topped it off a bit but no change. Should I drain and replace all trans fluid? Can I use Traveler, Universal transmission/hydraulic fluid for this?

Appreciate any help

Sounds to me like a clutch issue rather than a transmission issue.

Some owners have reported that the pin that that the clutch fork pivots on shears off.

I am still able to put into all gears but continue to roll in gear for 3-5 secs even reverse. Would the pin issue still allow me to run through the gears?

This tractor is not designed to use UTF. You should use gear oil in the gear boxes (both differentials/tranny/mid-connect box) and hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic system. In Ohio that would be 80W90 gear oil and AW32 respectively (AW46 if you don't use it in the cold of winter). You need to remove the clutch housing inspection plate and check both the clutch release fingers and the throwout bearing. The fingers should be round tipped, and equally spaced approximately 1/8" away from the throwout bearing. The bearing itself should NOT be blue. The gap is adjusted by lengthening/shortening the threaded clutch release rod located between the clutch pedal and the clutch release lever that sticks out the side of the bell housing. If the fingers have been worn flat and/or the bearing is blue, you likely will have to split the tractor for a clutch job.
