I got four of the small ones. same key will start any Bobcat built since 1993 my dealer told me.

I just found this out today. Forgot to leave a spare tractor key for a contractor and he just used the key from his.

That is main reason password protected start systems are becoming so popular in construction equipment. Too many people need to operate these and loosing keys would be a problem if each had special keys like a car, so companies have gone with password keyless systems.

The thiefs also know this so just pulling your key and thinking it is safe doesn't work.

If I left a piece of equipment on a job site I would have lojack or a gps tracker on it.
