Tractor Help??? Best 4 My Needs

Hey All,

New here and reading lots of good stuff, Im trying to find the right equipment suitable for my needs. First off, I have 4.5 acres of flat lands. 1.5 acres of which are kept neat and tidy like a yard should look. The other three acres are pasture, but currently have no livestock/fence. Brush sapplings as big as 1.5" and thick weeds. I am really looking for something used, economical, to meet all my needs listed. What size do I need? Brush Hog? Finish Mower? Belly Mower? HP? There is so many questions and with such a small amount of land and needing it to do several different task from well kept to brush and only wanting one piece of equipment and maybe several implements to do the work I need some help.

What do you all recommend? I am wanting to hear some of my options?

When looking at used it's all about what is available in your area. You may want to consider a 30 + HP older tractor for reasonable price and use a riding lawn mower for the lawn???

how would one of those DR pull behind mowers hold up to my needs?? I planned on riding mower for my lawn, but was looking at these attachments to pull behind a four wheeler just didnt know if a tractor or one of these pull behind attachments would be more suitable for my amount of property.

With only 3 acres of pasture, you could mow this almost like your lawn with a 4-ft brush hog and a 20-30 hp tractor. Look for a used B-series Kubota with hydrostatic tranny and an FEL with 4-ft bucket.
