Do you have any heat in the cab? If yes, is it electric or something off the engine?

Heat was an essential part of the build.

I used an automotive heater core (had one from a car project that never got used) in a simple DIY box with computer fan (extra strong one) and fan controller, mounted up on the ceiling. It blows down onto the windshield.

It's fed antifreeze from the water pump bypass. Easy to do. I doubt anything electric would really warm things up.

The system is shown and described in the video. Starts at slide 80. Have a look if you're planning something.

That is a masterpiece!!!! I personally have the CNC plasma that would make the whole CAB build a lot easier, but, I do not dare to do it! You nailed it!

ideehoan, got a question for you regarding the pantograph wiper arms.

I know that the main blade fits over the splined wiper shaft but how do you attach the bracket for the second arm. It seems to fit rather loosely on the threaded shaft of the wiper motor. Is this bracket supposed to be held in place with a nut or just hang there.

My apologies, I'm not getting notifications of posts and have not been here for a while.
I imagine you figured out the second arm attaches to a bracket which slides onto the main mounting stud and is secured by the stud nut. It has a hole for a bolt / screw to prevent spinning but I found I did not need it.

Sometimes timing is a sweet thing. We set a record for most snow ever in February. I was smiling a lot.
Not to toot my own horn here, but just for anyone planning a build, I have so far not found anything I would like to change. Hard to believe. Eventually I'm sure there will be and I'll post updates.

Just thinking about this. If you've got the CNC, I can't imagine you don't have some skills. Likely more than me. It's really just the will to do it.
I never drew anything out, just mounted a piece of square tube to the roll bar and started adding on.
Of all the things I've built, this was most satisfying because of how useful it is.

Great job on the cab. CNC plasma would have made a few cuts in the sheet easier, but for the most part, porta band, stationary band and angle grinder with cutting wheel prob does better with the materials utilized in the build. Built a cab for a Case 446 a few years ago. Cost of laminated glass and Lexan was an eye opener.

Yes the glass was the biggest expense by far.
You're right of course about tools. My thought was just that anyone with a CNC has some knowledge and skills.
