Tractor Auctions

I just got my copy of Hard Hat News. There are some auctions coming up. There is one tomorrow in Canastota, NY, it is Compact tractor and Lawn and Garden equipment. Auctioneer is Alex Lyons and son. I just did this as a point of interest and hope I'm not out of line. Some auctions can be done online. plowking

I recently tried one out. Some notes: Some stuff went for a lot, others not. From the pictures I was suprised. Make sure to watch the terms, the one I bought somthing from had a 10% auctioneer fee or something like that. What killed my deal was shipping. Way more than I had expected. If I was looking for a tractor I would consider doing it. For the attachment type stuff I'm looking for I probably won't consider another online auction that I won't drive to for pickup. I saw an auction place up on 28 in Epsom area today. I'm not in the business, but I rarely hear of any auctions for equipment type stuff in NH.

Hi,pekabu. Good point about the auctions commission. My friend bought a car off the vehicle auction on tv with the collector and muscle cars. Both the buyer and seller have to pay commissions to the auction house. plowking
