Trac-Vac

Hi,

I'm considering the Trac-Vac model 856 to use with my B7500HSD. Can anyone comment on how well this unit works and if it would be appropriate for a tractor this size, 21hp, 16HP at the PTO?

I can't comment specifically to that unit and your tractor, but I have had a Hasty Vac (similar to a Trac Vac but a bit more heavy duty in my opinion, and better dust ejection) for two years now and it works like a champ. I use it mainly to pickup leaves in the fall and it will leave it as clean as a vaccum cleaner when you are done. I typically get 7 to 8 loads from a single loop over the 2 acres I mow. My unit is 5HP engine one that doesn't run off the PTO.....

Downsides? Makes for a really long and awkward rig for routine, every mowing grass collection. The non-trailer units are much more manuverable.
