Towmotor Forklift

Hello gentlemen. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all.

I'm working on an old Towmotor that my late father purchased. I'm repairing it slowly as it's required to use on my farm. I believe it's a Model: 680-P . I'd love to get any info on these machines. I believe they were later bought out by Caterpillar.
Anyone have parts / operator's manuals? Any information is greatly appreciated.

I have no information on that model. But did see one on eBay for a price.
Google showed a bunch of them. I have a CAT and I used to have an older Toyota dual wheel unit.
I can tell you a working forklift is a must have on any place. Good luck with the restoration.

Back in the 70's my employer had dozens of Hyster forklifts and one old worn out tank-of-a-forklift. It was nicknamed Bertha. It was used for a spare if needed. It was too wide for most uses and sooo slow. I think it was a Towmotor similar to yours.

But it was dependable and as hard as everyone drove it, it just kept going. And it has a nice big table to rest your coffee.

Dad had Towmotor forklift from Ottis air base in Maine auction,he got info from heavy equipment dealer??? in Maine,sure came in handy moving items also scaffolding use and plowing snow...tire chains on front duals were must.
