looking at these brand of trailers, well actually dreamin'. I'm looking at 18ft tilt. T-16T If i get a trailer i will be primarily hauling the tractor. I like the tilt deck and the low center of gravity. Anyones thoughts? Or owned one?

Man at 5,000# empty weight it seems awful heavy. We used to have a 20+5 GN with tandem duals and a 25,000# GVWR that weight about 5,800# and that was with the tool box and 9K winch+battery.

Just seems awful heavy for a 16,000# trailer - empty weight of 5,000# for a usable load of 11,000#. I had 19,000# with the GN that only weight a little more but was 7' longer. I know it was not a tilt but just because its heavy does not mean its built well. Trailers are a lot like bridges. Its all how you put them together, not how much steel.
