Tornado Damage

A friend sent me these aerial shots of tornado damage in our area from last October. MossRoad (who has property not far from there) had told me the swath was very apparent from the ground. It's even more apparent from the air as you can see in the top photo. The path moves up and to the right from the "house" in the center of the picture. The next shot is my friends house where I cut some wood over Christmas. They lost over 1000 trees on 37 acres. I had my truck loaded cab-high with sideboards and you couldn't tell I had been there.

Also read in our paper the other night that a guy just died from the injuries he suffered. Thankfully, my friends house was not seriously damaged (the photo was taken after they removed the downed trees right around their house)

That must be somewhat of a scary feeling knowing there nothing you can do but watch..hope..and pray.
