The TopNewsTalk Web Site has been compromised. Nothing has been done to correct the problem it seems. I removed all connections to the site on my computers.

I don’t know if what is going on is intentional or not, but a lot of peoples personal information could be compromised. The two sites, TopNewsTalk and Tractorbynet were cross linked at one time.

IMO...the number of registered users over there is higher than than the combined IQ of the more prevalent yokels there...

Jeez... I was under the impression insulting other members was a banning offense. Maybe I'm wrong though, I'd have to look back at my vacation schedule... guess we'll see...

Do you have any evidence that the site is actually compromised vs. some persistent spammers posting crap? The site has virtually no moderation and it could be that the owner has better things to do this holiday weekend than banning a never-ending stream of spammer accounts.

I think it is beyond a persistent spammer. The log in procedure does not work. You have to click on search then are re-directed to another page for log-ins. Also, have you seen any regulars posters lately? Everything you see now is Viagra Pushers with many names..........

The choice is yours, continue signing in with your user name and password and posting or do as I have done assume the Web Site has been compromised and start taking security measures.

Seems like a waste of effort for someone to compromise that site as it has such a limited following....better to attack a real site. Maybe it is a practice run to see how the owner deals with it.

It had turned in a toxic political pit. I would not be surprised if the problems being experienced are are intentional so the site can just die itself rather than be closed by management.
