Bobcat CT2025
Hello,

I want a top and tilt kit for the rear of my 2025. I have the backhoe, so I have hydraulics back there.
I am not really sure how I would hook up the cylinders to my hydraulics. I assume I would have to hook the lines into a set of controls when the back hoe is off the tractor, or maybe I would have some sort of T fittings or splitters so the top and tilt would remain hooked up, guidance would be appreciated.

I am pretty experienced in aircraft hydraulic systems, especially modern European helicopter (Airbus) systems, so I can handle the install, but I do not know much about how tractors are set up. There does not seem to be any pre-engineered kits for Bobcat compacts.

D.

You will need both of the rear remotes for the tractor to control the top & tilt units. If you don't already have those, then I highly recommend that you get them.

Top & tilt sets can be purchased from Fit Rite Hydraulics. There is a long lead time though.

when you say both of the rear remotes, are the remotes the hydraulic lines? I have 3 lines I disconnect from the back hoe, are those the remotes? Or is what I would hook them into to control the top and tilt the remote?
I will call fit rite soon.

The connections for the BH are constant flow. Rear remotes are separate connections that you'd control from a lever on the right console of the tractor.

You should have 2 empty slots on the right side of the seat next to the 3pt position control lever. You need to get the factory rear remotes for your tractor. There will be control levers that will come up through those 2 slots that provide control for 2 sets of couplers that will be at the rear of the tractor by the top link mount.

Tell your dealer that you want both valves to be spring return to center valves. You DO NOT want a detent valve for your T&T application.

You are looking at $920 plus shipping costs for the complete T&T set.

I'm not sure what the rear remotes will cost, maybe around $1000? :confused3:

Thanks. I'll get with my dealer. Accessory parts for these new Bobcats don't seem to be available yet, hopefully stuff will start coming is as they sell more units.

My dealer is having the same problem, the tilt cylinder they bought from their parts dealer did not fit. I pointed them towards Rite Fit Hydraulics and asked the dealer to see if they could buy the parts from them since the dealers mechanics should be able to handle the rest. Hopefully they can work something out. I really don’t have 24 weeks to wait for the kit from Rite Fit. Hopefully the dealer can make it worth their while to sell them the parts.

They have not contacted me for parts and no I will not sell parts. The parts have to be made, so we are right back to the 24 week lead time.

Maybe try Michigan Iron. It's not mine, probably only tilts to the right, but maybe it will work for you. :confused3:

Thanks for the reply and explanation on the lead time. It’s been a long wait on parts for this tractor and I’m just anxious to get it so I’m doing everything I can to expedite the process.

Hmm... My tractor is already ordered. Bobcat describes the remotes as "4 Port Remote Hydraulic Valve (Spring Return and Detent)". I don't know if this means one spring return valve and one detent valve, or are they both spring return with a detent at the end of travel to go into a float mode like a loader? Did not operate any rear implements during the test drive and didn't think to ask (didn't know enough to ask if I'm being honest). Unfortunate if only one of the valves is spring return since anything I intend to do in the near future will require that type. If I get top + tilt, then I would need more ports any way since I want a rear blade with hydraulic angle and offset control. Guess a multiplier with at least 4 sets of ports connected to the spring return valve would be required. So is the other one only good for a power beyond application? Not a terrible thing since I didn't order with a backhoe and don't have those power beyond lines.
