Hot dog! I ordered my markham toothbar today. Should get here in a couple of weeks.

I measured 60" across the inside of the bucket which makes sense on a 60" bucket but can someone please verify that measurement? Even better if someone has fitted a markham toothbar made to the 60" bucket measurement?

Thanks

Yep, 60" on the dot. They made mine at 59 3/4". Fit's great. Best thing I ever got for my tractor. You won't believe the differance. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

They're great. The few times I've had the opportunity to use mine, I've been impressed.
Note: Don't bump your shins against it accidentally, 'cause it hurts!!

Mine was 72" exactly and I ordered 71 7/8", figured I could grind a little if room was needed. They sent 71 1/2", more slop than I wanted, had to put double washers on both sides /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif.

It's a great tool amd I love it. Expect them to make it shorter than you order, they appear to be overly conservative or just don't trust your measuring ability............./forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Enjoy

The gal, I love that accent, told me they will go 1/4" shorter for 1/8" slop on each side. I measured in the early morning dawn with some hunks of frozen mud in the very bottom corners and after I swept the frozen snow away. I was a little less than 100% confident in the measurement but I figured I really wanted to order it.

I hope to have gravel delivered real soon and want the toothbar to help me cut into the pile and take big scoops. Then I discovered that I could dig out most trees and stumps on my land since the roots are shallow and the soil has no rocks. The trouble with the stumps is those pesky roots that reach way out, its hard to get a good bite on them with the flat loader. Also, brush moving and raking. With the flat bucket lip, I can't even scoop up a railroad tie to move it but the toothbar will let me grab on.

I'll have some pics of install. Thanks for the confidence. I would have thought that Kioti would rate the bucket at 60" on the outside to save the 1/2" of steel on each one. Really expected 59.5" on the inside. Cool.

What did you pay for that little jewel if you don't mind me asking?

Ah, Mr. Jennings... glad you've joined us here. I have been happy to be customer of yours on a few occasions. Also impressed with how you handled the backhoe that tore the butt out of that fellow's Kubota a few months back.

The toothbar delivered to my door was 279.50$. I would have been more than happy to purchase it from you if you had one in stock and the price was close. I have not heard of a dealer yet through TBN that offered a toothbar for less than about double that.

Thanks for the kind words. We took on the Kioti line in early September. We are real pleased with the product. Stop in for a visit sometime. That's a great buy on the toothbar by the way. We're about $20 above plus the governor.
