Toothbar From H&H Mfg.

I would think a drag harrow would be better for that than a landscape bar. It would be pretty easy to make a mess of it with the bar and take a lot longer. The drag harrows roll up pretty good so they dont take much space. They are also pretty cheap.

By the way, gotta pic of the 1/4" angle on the top of the bucket?

Here is what I did to make the top of my bucket rival (I hope) the bottom with the toothbar attached.

I put a slip hook in the center and grab hooks on the sides. Works real well for me... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Strange...I don't think I have had a problem with posting attachments before...

Now a second try...

Well...no luck. Not sure why...maybe tomorrow... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hmmm.... That's odd. Are you sure your image is a JPG and within the limits? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

( I have the regular one. Someone here has the landscape one (forget what they call it but it has a tooth about every four inches on center) and I remember he was pretty satisfied with it)
Henro, I remember that post. The guy mentioned something about really being able to handle those sticky rose things, can't remember the name of them. Gatorboy knows the name 'cause he has a lot of them around his place. Killer thorns. Anyway, the guy really liked the landscape TBar as far as I remember. I'd like to have one also as I can see advantages to both. John
EDIT: Well, I found one, but not the one I was thinking of. Finally got tired of searching my past posts, so this one will do:

I want to say yes, because it is a photo I posted before in a thread but I forget where... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I'll have to jump over to my other computer and see if I can get it to work today... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

One more try on that photo...it is a jpeg and is about 68K in size...

Note: it was a software conflict at my end apparently. I closed some other stuff that was running and then the picture posted OK...

Bill, I'm kind of surprised that you're letting that much rust stay on your loader. You always seem so meticulous about how you build things that I would think you'd have removed that rust and repainted it. I know it's not a big deal, just surprises me. John

I just got a quote from my local dealer for $615 without tax. Anyone have a good experience with a dealer that might be less that would have it drop shipped to my place?

I called most of the folks listed as dealers in CA and most of them dont know what I am talking about.

Mark, what size it your bucket inside just behind the cutting edge? That sounds like a lot of money for the average toothbar. John

John, I don't think it is rust. I think it is grease...I'm guilty of putting a lot in and not wiping off the extra that comes out...I think this is true, but if not..."That's my story and I'm sticking to it!" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

By the way, use is the best way to take the rust off from what I can see. My toothbar was rusty after the winter, but now it is the nicest shiny virgin steel color one could imagine... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mark,

I don't know if that was for an H&H toothbar, but even though they don't sell direct you can call them and ask the list price for whatever size you need and they will give it to you.

This will give you some idea of how the dealer is treating you.
