Toothbar Advise.....

I've been putting off buying a toothbar for a long time because of the price and was wondering if anyone thinks they are really worth the money?I think around here they are about $300.00 plus or minus a little. Any good comments or good pics that might make me change my mind? The bucket on mine is a 4 ft.Thanks for your advise.

Well worth it.

Do a search for toothbars on this forum. This subject has been discussed here ad infinitum. You'll find a lot of good info and more than a few opinions.

All I can say is: Gotta get one.

A toothbar will make your loader much more capable. It gives you a little more length for leverage on large rocks, takes a slightly bigger bite out of a spoil pile, and has the ability to dig where your flat edge would just stop.

I have one and love it...I'm sure it will never come off the bucket. My vote is for it.

Few attachments you can buy will give you this much bang for the buck. A removable TB almost oughtta be standard equipment for a FEL bucket.

I have a Markham toothbar that I bought with my B7800. It was a very good purchase as it has allowed me to defer the buying of a backhoe for now. It's very effective for digging as well as lifting trees, bush, logs and rocks off the ground.
