Looking to get a tooth bar or bucket for my 7060 so save some money on renting to paying for some digging around the house. Yes in know they aren't the best for digging but I'm not doing anything major. Any recommendations are welcomed. Where is the best place to get either product?

Keep an "eye out" for a skid steer tooth bucket wide enough for your machine. SS dealers will have decent "tooth bars" in stock, just measure your bucket (inside to inside) left/right.

I picked this up at a farm sale cheap. Had to narrow it down a few inches. Looks close to the W.R. Long set up so I would vote W.R. Long. It works good enough that its almost always on my tractor.

Looks like the sides of the bucket are pretty thin. Bobcat rock bucket for a 743 much more robust. Use for concrete removal often standing machine on end or side when prying with it. Buy what you need- heavier ones are available.

The sides of the bucket are thin. Its the standard bucket my LS4155HC came with. Plenty strong for a tractor, no doubt it wouldn't last on a skid steer. It's also probably 1/2 the weight of a SS bucket.

I wasn't very clear in my post, sorry. I was referring to just the tooth bar.

I really like the Piranha toothbar from BXPanded. You can get them in a variety of lengths... custom made to order.

I have a Piranha on my L3301 and L3830... 5' and 6' buckets. They make digging so much easier. You can control digging angle much easier and requires far less power when digging into piles. Teeth are very sharp and have a self sharpening tendency. I much prefer the Piranha over a standard tooth bar. Yes I have used both.

What kind of ground you digging?

Here's a pic of the Piranha on my L3301.

It's been so long ago that I can't remember who I bought mine from. But I'd never be without it. Any real digging is impossible without it.

I made a tooth bar from 3/8 x 6 inch flat stock. I first used a plywood template as a guide, and used a torch to cut the teeth. I had planned to cut 5 "W"'s into the bar, but apparently I can't count 'cause I had ended up with 4. On another mod., the ball hitch receiver locks over one of the tooth bar supports.

Years ago I bought the bolt on tooth bar and didn't like it at all so sold it. I later added a RatchetRake and love it for leveling and undergrowth removal and light digging/lifting rocks but the teeth down part is an issue with pure digging so Pirinha (never owned but have came close to ordering a couple times, last time shipping cost made me back off) and I bought a used Rip and Dig Rip and Dig and it's the best for digging that I've found but it doesn't dig 5'/6' wide at one pass but it'll dig a hole or ditch in a heart beat and will dig a bank up to then remove with your bucket easily. It's a digger with a tooth that can drop for small trench digging and it's much bigger than I thought before getting it.:2cents:
