Toolcat D
I'm considering adding a precleaner to my 5600 D Toolcat. Dealer price is $298 but installation would cost an additional $300. Installation looks pretty straightforward. Has anybody done this installation. If so, how hard was it to do? Any tips?

I did mine a couple of years ago on my 5610 F series. It took me around 2 hours to complete the install. The kit included all the parts and step by step instructions. If the install method is similar to mine my best advice is to make sure you face a sharp hole saw and a strong corded drill to make the hole in the body. Mine was double walked and took it slow adding some cutting oil during to keep the hole straight between the two walls. Also ended up using some spray lube to get the intake pipe to couple to the existing cleaner with the kits included rubber hose since it is slightly too small to makeup the connection.
