Toolbox on 790

I have seen a number of threads about mounting a tool box on a 790. I had bought a plastic one and mounted it on the right fender but now I've put a 3 spool valve there to run the angle on my blade and eventually a TNT on my box blade. So I bought a toobox at JD (I think it fits the fender of a 990) and mounted it on the front. I made the brackets from some metal that I bought at a HW store. Works great. A few pictures.

Is that box setting on your weight bracket, or did you remove the bracket?

BTW, with those of you with a 419 loader, this won't work. There's a clamp that goes there when the loader is installed. Too bad...good location!

I forgot to add that I bought the bracket that goes with the toolbox also.

I actually had to build a small L bracket that bolts to the toolbox bracket and sets on the FEL cross bar. When full the original two brackets I built weren't strong enough to hold the toolbox steady. These two brackets are bolted to the weight bracket. I had to move the toolbox out as far as possible (the FEL just clears it by an inch) to let the lid open.

Very Nice Work - I mounted mine on the back of my 2520. Nice to have the tools readily available in the field.
