Toolbox for JD 4500

Well after some tinkering I came up with a toolbox rig for my 4500. It cantilevers on an aluminum street sign mounted to some cross bar support under the seat. I wanted something that would "give" when the 3 pt arms pushed it up. So far it has worked. It has some bounce to it, but I lift the 3 pt arms up to hold it still if necessary. It has rubbed my SMV triangle some, but it so handy to have those tools right there.

Not a bad looking arrangement, but is the theft of street signs not illegal in Alabama as it is around here?

Yeah I imagine that theft of a street sign is a crime in most places. But I didn't say that I stole it.
I cut this piece from a sign that I was required to buy and post on some property that I was getting a varience on or something like that. It was just hanging around. I think I have the receipt around here somewhere ?

Maybe so; couldn't resist that./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif I have a basketball goal in the yard with a backboard that was obviously cut from a BIG street sign. It was here when I bought the place and I left if for the grandkids, so I don't have a receipt./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
