Tool to unstick PHD auger???

And if he doesn't have a MF.. the pipe wrench is still my best choice... I'm not putting too much faith on the wooden shovel handle... I've seen some augers that were twisted and bent tring to remov ethem, they were stuck so bad..

The first time I used a phd, I screwed it into the ground. I had to get a jack coupled with the tractor's hydraulics to get it out. Slowing the decent worked much better.

I guess soundguy I do not put a lot of faith in having a big pipe wrench handy when I need it.

What can I say, it works, and has been used, and does not impeded anything as far as I see.

Could we break a shovel handle,,, sure, will it always work, nope, but was it easy and quick to do and gets us out of what could be a tight spot quickly sometimes,,, Yep.
