Does anyone have recommendations on a good cell phone holder and placement for the (2023) tool cat?

RAM X-Grip. I use it with their twist lock suction cup base, but they have various other base options (clamp on, screw down, cup holder, etc.). Modular system that you can configure any way you want, and it stays put.

That's what I use in my L4060 and truck. The tractor uses a round bar mount on the interior door bar, and the truck mounts in a "can" that fits in a beverage holder.
They make quality stuff.

I used RAM components with with a PEAK magnetic Phone charger. Uses an existing bolt on the side panel cover so nothing new to drill.

Plugs into the USB C port built right into the dash with the included cable from the Peak charger.

It works great even bouncing around.

If your phone doesnt have MagSafe or MagFit then just swap out the Peak charger for a RAM X-Grip like mentioned above.
