My dealer is prepping a JD 3720 HST w/ cab for me. When I ordered it, I made him throw in a tool box at the end for N/C. It sits just below the rear loader bracket and in front of the cab. The metal bracket that holds the tool box is well made but the tool box is laughable. It is about 12" long by 6" high and 5" deep and made of cheap, cheap, cheap (did I say cheap) plastic. You can pick it up and nearly crumple it together. It is held on the bracket by a thin rubber strap with 2 hooks. Whoever designed that tool box should be fired. Thank god I didn't pay $45 for it. I think my kids have a playschool tool box which is better built.
I have a small metal tool box from TSC from my previous Kubota I will put on in place of the plastic one.
After a little seat time, I will do a comparison of my new JD, my older 5300 JD, the Kubota 3710 GST and Case-IH DX29 HST.
I also ordered the front hydralic couplers on the loader. It came with the small JD couplers which I find annoying since most hydraulic couplers on tractors are using standardized pioneer type couplers. Those will also get changed out.
