Finally got the Tractor!!!! Got it last night around 530..... the guys at the dealership went over the ins and outs for about 15mins....and then they delivered it. Basically, I told them just to tell me what NOT to do so I don't break anything before I read the manuals.

Anyhow... I got it home and drove around a bit.....used the loader to move some big rocks (forgot pics of that:( ) .... then laid down the legs and started digging with the hoe... (never operated before)... I think I did alright with it, the controls are actually quite friendly so I picked it up pretty fast. Already I wish I had a 24 in. bucket... hehe neverends!

Anyways thanks to everyone on here for the information lately and Ill post more pics as I go.

Pictures attached are of my wife, my submarine project and all the grass I need to cut (mower deck is suppose to be delivered today). .. Im at work:( I wanna be at home playing.

I know that feeling

A beautiful wife, a brand-new tractor, a nice property and home.

Life is good.

Congratulations! Great pictures! I'm jealous though, I don't have a FEL and BH! But like you said, it never ends! So many attachments, so little money! I like that last few pictures, there's nothing like a dirty tractor!

I thought for sure I would get hollered at on here for not cleaning it after the first day of use. But, I'm glad to here that a dirty tractor is ok ... cause I'm not much for cleaning things.

I got home last night after work (bout 7) and the deck was waiting for me.... So I says to the wife... ya want me to keep digging or try out the deck? Of course she wants to see it cut...(well i kindda did too).

So it took me about an hour to dismount the hoe attachment. I don't know much about hydros and quick disconnects so I got stumped when I disconnected them from the tractor to the hoe and couldn't get um back together. Turned out that I needed to bleed a bit out of the hoe line cause the pressure was to high to allow the quick connects to engage.
So it took me about another hour to get the mower deck put on. I wasn't sure how to use all the links and rods on the 3pt so I had to read and go step by step. But, then it took me awhile to figure out how to use the anti-sway arms to keep the deck from hitting the tires.
So when this was all over... it was pitch black and "House" was about to come on... so I just parked it in the garage for the night. (amazingly the thing fit with the deck on; however I did have to raise the FEL over some stuff in the front and leave it that way... so not a good perminant sollution, but it will work until the barn is built).

I guess tonight I'll get to mow..... although a storm is moving in... so I may not get to do anything for a couple days:( .

BTW... I'll pass on the complements to my wife...

Great pictures. I can certainly relate to the "fun" of trying to figure out how to attach something for the first time.

Was your loader still up in the morning, or did the hydraulics leak enough overnight for the loader to drop and smash the stuff in front of the tractor?

Have fun.

Looks good, I got mine dirty today digging trecnches to drain surface water away from barn. I was peeling away frost to dig the trench. Did your propane tank float up from underground? , looks like you have a high water table ,unless water collected in the open trench. I'm surprised they didn't anchor tank down when it was installed. I wish I could have gotten your size tractor, but I need the GC2310 to pass between fences, gates on residential property, it is 48 inches wide even with the stabilizers. plowking

Nice tractor. Right now, I have to rely on neighbors if I need a hoe. How much that one run ya?

Oh yeah, read the posts here about no hydraulics BEFORE you try to change the fluids after 50 hours... I wish I did, it would have saved me not getting into my shop for a couple of weeks!

Oh yeah said:
I don't understand what your saying here? Can you explain your quote above?

The scooper costed me 6k with the subframe and installation. It sure is a beefy SOB. I had fun using it and it has plenty of guts...i lifted the tractor a few times. I could surely flip it if i wanted.

About the propane tank. Yeah, its an ingrounder. About 1.5 years ago (the day after x-mas actually) we woke up to the site of the tank exploding from the ground. Couldn't believe it. We dont really have a problem with water on that part of the land, its just cause the horrible excavators I had at the time didnt cover it enough.
We had alot of snow right before christmas and then it all thawed quick. We had almost emptied the tank so it became less heavy and more buoyant (air replaces the LP as you empty) and it lifted right out.

Its been lifted like I said for 1.5years cause I have been waiting to get a tractor to do it myself. So now I have a fun project to do. BTW, they don't anchor it, they add some weird sand bags under it to add weight to the bottom... real getto if you ask me. Go figure its Ameri-gas.

Great pictures. I can certainly relate to the "fun" of trying to figure out how to attach something for the first time.

Yeah, its been ok for the last couple of days like that. I hope it don't fall or Ill have some drywall to fix.

So I live in NE Ohio (out of the lake Erie snow belt luckly) and Easter Sunday was about 35 degrees. But, I couldnt take it any longer... 3 day weekend and I wasn't gonna get to use the tractor!! No way!.... So i bundled up and went out and mowed our whole back yard... haha it was cold as **** but I enjoyed it.... even some specs of snow were still visible! Took me bout 3hrs, which wasnt bad... its about 4 acres I think. I was really creeping though cause we had some tall weeds and I was trying to keep a look out for any rocks or big ant hills to push out of the way before the deck hit um. The beast ice helped numb the pain from the cold:p

Regarding the 50 hour service. There are more than one thread here about bleeding the hydraulic system after replacing the fluid and filter. If you don't, you will fire your tractor up expecting to lift the bucket (and in my case box scraper) and get nothing but a tractor with it's engine running and paralyzed hydraulics. There really isn't a bleeder valve anywhere, but you can bleed at the hydraulic pump apparently, or where I did it at the filter. Made a bit of a mess though. Find the threads and read up first, it will be well worth the time.

Thanks for the hoe info...still outta range for me...

Have fun!

Oh.. ok thanks. I gottcha now on the 50 hour service. I will most likely do the service myself so I will read up on it.

I have some more pics... some from when I was first trying to remove the bucket... some others from last night when I was cutting in 40 degree weather. One picture is a knocked up cat if anyone is interested in orange kittens in NE ohio and finally a crushed beer can which gets me through each day. Others are of my back yard and all that I have cut so far.

I set the option for attachments to come in as links. So when I click on them the explorer window resizes them to fit the screen and the resolution is great.

If you set your options to links, I think you will have the same luck.

If I'm wrong let me know... I can take the pictures in VGA.

Thanks
