Why do you need a tractor? :confused3:

"Fiddling with a tractor" is part of the normal ownership--You have to maintain it. Perhaps you should consider renting one when you need it. I did that for about the first 5 years of property ownership. I've rented tractors for mowing, backhoes, skid steers and ditch-witches. Even a road grader. All I had to do was return it full of fuel.

You are very lucky with only the cost of a tank of fuel for renting. Must be a co-op of some sort. Around here most anything like that would be $200.00-300.00 a day you pickup and return
