I decided I couldn稚 wait for a Saturday night bath and took advantage of today痴 good weather to clean Quincy, the compressor I bought last week.

I covered the motor and electrical box but remembered to scrub behind the airs.

I pulled a 454 out of an old truck I had. I pulled a bad 6.5 last night. The 454 is going in my 3500HD.

what coating did you use?

I made a (slip on forks) carpet pole attachment for the farm this week. It was nice using up old material and not having to buy anything new for a change.

I would usually use dual shield for this job but instead I tacked it up with MIG and stick welded with 7018 just because I was in the mood.

The thing that comes to mind is that I was reminded how much quieter cutting with oxy-acetylene is than plasma. And how much I love stick welding. It痴 kind of relaxing and I just kind of zone out.

Very good build and nice workmanship. Something like this is on my short list for next summer.
