Just got my new King Kutter mower today and installed on my tractor. Now, I'm wondering, should you let the mower float and not float.

If you have a finish mower with rollers that keep it at the right height, you'll want to float it. This means leave your lift control in the "down" position.

If you have a brush hog with its front height set by the lift, you have to run it down to the height you want and then reset the lift control to neutral. It can float up from that position but not down.

KK RFM's have a floating top link and follow the ground, run it in float.
