To B3030 or not to B?

Hi all-

I'm looking to move from a BX2230 to something a little larger (more ground clearance, more power, heavier/more functional 3PH and position control). Because of the last two constraints I'm thinking B2630 or B3030. New seems a bit dear at this moment (although this could change if Kubota extends the 0% into August - I don't tend to rush just to get the cheap financing).

I've a 3PH rear finish mower (putting the MMM on is a PITA), so all I am looking for is a tractor and loader.

I found a 3030 with a Kubota loader online that appears to have been a rental with a touch over 500 hours on it, asking 13250. Does this price sound in the ballpark?

Dave:

I have a 2007 B3030 with only 67 hours that I regretfully have to sell do to the fact that I'm moving. PM me if intrerested. I'm just due east of you in Clarksburg, WV.

Thanks for all your help guys in choosing the right tractor. Seems like the B3030 won my heart, but is more for maintaining properties, so I have decided to buy it, but not right now for money constraints. I have however just purchased a John Deere 410-D used to do some of the major work around the property like installing a driveway, septic system, and house foundation. It's an old unit (1974-wow) but runs fantastic and is just a monster. The hoe has over a 15' digging debth! After I build and get my use out of it I will resell it and then buy the newer 3030. I am very impressed with how well tractors in general hold up. If you keep up with routine maintaince they will pretty much last forever.
If there is one thing I have learned in looking for the right tool for the job, it's that you can't make 1 tractor do it all. I looked at the Kubota Grand L 3540, but in the end I could get a used B3030 and the John Deere I now have for about the same price, yet get the best of both worlds. I would have hated the L for mowing! Thanks again for the advice, I have the "beast" torn down right now getting it prepared for some heavy work, but after it's up again I'll post some pics.
