Got these on my 5740C, the dealer had the front ones swapped when I purchased the tractor. Noticed today the front ones are really badly cracked along the bars. The back ones show cracking all along the writing on the sides.
Back are 2 years old, front are 1 year old.
Anyone else have the same problem?

My Titan's are holding up very well. Tires/tractor is just over 2 and I have had it for a year.

Mine look good after 3 years/380 hours.

Mine are a mess, they get worse every year and started cracking before they were 2 years old. The tire wear on the fronts also seems unusually high while the rears are wearing normally.

Check to see how many plys they are. All manufactures (or most anyway) make a heavy duty and a light duty. Light duty tires are obviously much less expensive and a tire shop who is looking to make a buck will sell you the 2 ply tire in a heartbeat and you won't know the difference for a few years.

Why not.

Out of curiosity are you all running Ag or industrial Titan's? I have ag's on my T7074.

As a side note my MF 5455 came with Michelin radials, new models of that tractor have Titan radials on them.

Because Mr. Brown, they will crack and deteriorate in a couple years. Not only that but they are much easier to puncture. Seen it over and over again. It's a classic example of "you get what you pay for". A cheap 2 ply tire will not last as long as a 6 ply tire that costs you more, but hey, it's cheap.

I'm going to 4 or 6 ply when I trash another one .

The shale at my place has done in 2 stock fronts and put a real hurtin on one rear it has a sewn cut and a radial tire boot in it still tubless and it dosen't leak yet.

Titan is great .... I clicked some pictures of the cracks in the rears at the base of the bars, emailed them to Titan and in about 30 days the local farm service truck was here with new tires .... complements of Titan.

Had OTR's on mine. they cracked really bad and Montana sent me Titans to replace them. Been really satisfied with them.

Maybe I was just lucky, but over 4 years years ago when I got my Mahindra 7520 with R4 tires, they were (are) 10 ply. Besides a few small chunks of rubber missing, when the tires get cleaned up they look like they are new, no cracks, checks, just some great tires. :D

Mine are Titan Contractor series, R4, 10 ply rear and 6 ply's in the front. I operate the tractor in the grass and a little travel on gravel roads. Almost no wear at all, 465 hrs so far.

I have Titans on my 2001 JD 4200. The fronts were replaced when I noticed the sidewalls had signs of separation (balloon style bulges). The rears are doing fine, knock on wood. The tires are R4's.

My rig is stored inside and away from the dry-rot effects of the sun. Where are you storing your tractor?

I've got Titan R-4's on mine, the same ones that came with it from the factory in 2005. I've put a tube in the left rear because I picked up a large nail and even a patch still left me with a slow leak, thus the tube and no more leaks. This wasn't the tires fault though and other than that, since Feb 2005 my Titans have looked and performed beautifully. Good tires!
