Hi guys, I have a titan tee post driver that bounces very badly when driving a post. It is a Titan model 2875, it is a 37.7 cc driver. All I was doing was driving a post and suddenly it started to bounce almost off the post. Now everytime I drive a post it bounces, anybody know what is going on with it? Trains1938

I don't have your particular driver, mine is a Skidril. On mine, there's an anvil and a collet that have to be installed a certain way. I also have to keep some oil in a reservoir, so they don't bind. Maybe your anvil is bound up.

Hi gsganzer, Not sure what you mean by the anvil. The only anvil I am use to is the one used in a blacksmith shop. However, what you say is a possibility I guess. How do I check it out? Trains1938

Unfortunately, my driver is at my deer lease, otherwise I'd take photo's of it. On mine, you can install different collets, based on the pole/pipe diameter you're driving. Each collet has a different sized anvil (the part that strikes the top of the pipe/pole). On mine, the linkage to that anvil has to be inserted a certain way.
