Titan Attachments Experience

   / Titan Attachments Experience #81
Anyway, back to this thread - as I said, I mentioned this thread to Evan and even told him which forum and thread title it was. I went so far as to even find the post numbers from the guy a page or two back who had to grind some of his mounting pins off. He said "oh, I just talked to him and he's going to grind the pin a little bit. He's OK with it." I also suggested that they might want to address this on the thread. We'll see if they do.

Yes, that was me! I spoke with Evan twice. Once when my tracking info was showing delivered when it had not been shipped because they were out of stock, and once when the bottom pins of my John Deere grapple would not fit into the mount on the FEL. Evan was very polite and courteous both times. I certainly was not happy with both issues, but I am normally pretty good at maintaining my composure. Evan's positive attitude both times certainly helped me maintain my composure. He did seem concerned to ensure that I was happy with my Titan experience.

Certainly, I would rather have received my grapple within the normal amount of time, and certainly, I would have rather been able to mount my grapple without grinding the pins, but yes, I am untimately pacified as Evan stated. Evan also stated that he would refund $20 for Titan being 2 weeks late delivering the grapple and another $30 for me having to grind the pins. I did have a positive customer service experience with Evan.

As previously stated, the welds are not very good and I hope they hold. It appears they were in a hurry because of high product demand and simply went way too fast when welding. I will take pictures and post them sometime this weekend.

Here are some pics. The good looking weld on the right is a factory weld on a JD 553 loader for comparison purposes.

Yes, you identified the nice weld. It's what I like to call a normal weld......

Got the 48's use them for everything.

The first one isn't really that bad... all cheap implement manufacturer welds look like that. I have a few on my KKs that wish they were that nice.

The second pic is awful. I think not only is the weld bad, but that was probably a result of fit up issues as well.

I'm somewhat surprised that the loader arms aren't robotically-welded on the JD loader.
