Titan Attachments Experience

I've only ordered a quick-attach mount plate from them (516MP) so far. It was an absolutely perfect fit and I'm very pleased with the price.

My plate was perfect too. My forks were not. Grapple was so-so. I have seen it all.

My tractor is at the farm, but I will get y'all pictures by the end of the weekend. The individual who welded my grapple was obviously inexperienced.

I bought the pallet forks & 3pt bale spear from Titan this winter, both products fit good and the welds look good although I really haven't used them yet. The only problem I had was they sent me the wrong bale spear frame. I received the wrong frame on a Wednesday and after numerous calls & photos & E-mails and them trying to talk me into keeping the wrong frame it took until the following Tuesday before they arranged to have Fed-Ex pick up the wrong frame and they wouldn't ship the right one until they had the tracking # from Fed-Ex. If I hadn't called & E-mailed them twice daily I would still be waiting for my part. So I don't have a problem with the products yet, but the customer service with the return was terrible. When you buy from them they ship it fast, just pray that they ship the right one and you don't have to return it.

I bought the Titan grapple - works great and welds are good. I did manage to rip it off the lower pins when pulling some branches out of a tree. In fairness, it was a lot of force with the tractor pulling in reverse. I read SOMEWHERE the Titan grapple had a history with this problem and there was a simple way to address it.

I thought Titan had a presence on TBN. ??? Has anyone from Titan contributed to this thread?

Received my Titan 48" 4000# SSQA pallet forks a couple of weeks ago. The SSQA fit was perfect and welds all looked to be well done. Ordered a set of Titan 4000# clamp on bucket forks that arrived late last week. Again, well built with excellent welds. Bought them primarily to use on Kubota B2710 bucket but, got 4000# so I could put on bucket of the NH. TL100A also. Only 9# per fork difference in weight between the 4000# and the 1500# forks. I am sold on Titan quality!

We'll i have time to sit down an type so I'll give my experience with Titan. I was looking for a SSQA plate for a plow that I bought. I decided I was going to purchase the 3/8" SSQA plate instead of the 1/4". After looking at Titans other auctions on eBay I emailed them and asked how thick was the plate on their Skidsteer 3 Point Attachment Adapter. I was told it was 3/8" thick so I figured for the extra $100 that it cost over the regular 3/8" SSQA plate then I could just fabricate the a-frame on the plow to work with a 3-point hitch adapter and when I wasn't using the plow I would have the option to have a 3-point hitch adapter on the front of the tractor. It also came with a 2" receiver adapter. So I went ahead and purchased it. Shipping was fast! When I received it it was bent a little on the side (not a big issue as I can fix it) BUT the plate is not 3/8"..... It's 1/4" ..... WTH??? ...... Also there are few other things that I'm not that happy with........ I'm not a welder but the welds look like sh$t and the two plates that are welded from the main plate that hold the 2"x2" sq tubing are both crooked and the 2" receiver is welded about a 1/4" off..... Enuff to notice it and really tick ya off.
I email explaining only the bend (was just letting them know about it) and the fact that the SSQA plate was a 1/4" thick...... Not the 3/8" thickness I was told it was. Their response was "Sorry" that it was our mistake and that the 1/4" is still really strong and will hold up ect ect ect......
I told them it doesn't matter how strong it was...... I bought it being told that it was 3/8" thick. They emailed back saying the same thing as the last email. I told them I would like to reimbursed $50.00 to buy a piece of 3/8" steel and have it welded in the center just to reinforce it. They came back offering $25.00..... Said that's all they are allowed to give but he (Todd I think..... two different men emailed me) would take $10.00 out of his own pocket just so he wouldn't have to set up a return. I emailed back and said the $35.00 won't work for me so to please set up the return. The next day I get an email saying the will refund the $50.00.
What really ticked me off the most about this was he (Todd) wanted me to just except " Sorry".
It was his mistake and he should make it right.... Not tell me he is sorry and expect me to just say ok no problem.
To me their welds are the same quality as the welds from the quick attack I bought from Harbor Freight.

I have heard lots of good things about Titan and now some not so good things and I'm not happy with my experience with them. Some ppl are sent items with nothing wrong and other ppl are sent items with issues so I guess it's a gamble. I usually like to buy things only once and don't mind spending extra to get better quality ( buy once cry once) but this time I figured why not try them (prices are cheap) and a lot of ppl are happy with them.........
I guess their products are good for some ppl....... For me I'll move on.

Has anyone from Titan contributed to this thread?

On Monday I called Titan and ordered this receiver plate and this blank mounting plate. I spoke with Evan. If you click on the receiver plate link, you will see that it mentions that there is a dent in the plate. I mention this to Evan and then also tell him about this thread. I asked him about the dent and he said that he didn't know what happened to them but that they got several of these from their (Chinese) supplier that had this problem but it didn't seem to be affecting any other aspect of the plate. I asked him about fitment issues that I've read about and he said that they wanted satisfied customers and if there were any fitment problems that I could return the mounting plate but that the receiver plate was sold "as-is" since they were pointing out damage on their web listing. I pointed out that the "noted damage" had NOTHING to do with the pin locations. I wouldn't send it back for the dent, but if the mounting brackets didn't line up that I would be sending it back and I wouldn't be paying for shipping either way. He finally agreed to that.

Anyway, back to this thread - as I said, I mentioned this thread to Evan and even told him which forum and thread title it was. I went so far as to even find the post numbers from the guy a page or two back who had to grind some of his mounting pins off. He said "oh, I just talked to him and he's going to grind the pin a little bit. He's OK with it." I also suggested that they might want to address this on the thread. We'll see if they do.

My parts are currently "out for delivery" on the Fed-Ex truck so they should be here any time today. I'm patiently waiting (wasting time here on TBN instead of working!) for the driveway alarm to go off so I can see how they look. I did tell Evan that I would post my satisfaction on this thread - good or bad. So I will let y'all know once I test fit them on my FEL.

When I bought my grapple, also was working with Evan. I questioned him about some comments about proper fitting and would they just go ahead and send the shims, should I need them. His paraphrased response (probably true!) was variances from brand to brand, and prior wear and tear could cause some of the misalignment issues. I'll say mine lined up perfectly. Also the steel crate the grapple was shipped in came in real handy in welding up the frame form for my ballast box. And let's not forget this unit was also almost half the price of a popular grapple that is mentioned here often that has occasional issues.
