I have a TC 45D with R4 and I was going to put ag tires on it and the 14.9 -24 rears are smaller then the r-4 and the 8-16 fronts are bigger then the R-4 fronts will they still work

I'm not sure I understand the sizes you're talking about, but the rolling circumference ratio had better be about the same.

Your rears should be 14.9 x 24 ag and your fronts 8.0 x 16 ag is what New Holland calls for. The 14.9 width is narrower than the R4s, but you will have plenty of traction because of the ag lugs.
