Tires $$$$

I did a search for tires and didn't find a discussion on the cost of tires and also if you can convert to R4s from R1s or the other way around.

Here are the tire sizes on the tractor I am looking at.

12.5/80x18 / 19.5Lx24 industrial

11.2x24 / 16.9x28 Ag

I'm thinking those are different size rims, but maybe I don't know how to read sizes??

Also, what are folks paying to replace tires?

My b7800 came with R4's. I bought a set of R1's,I had to buy rims also. They are a narrower taller tire. As far as the cost from the dealer ( hope your sitting down.) $1100.00

That was what I was thinking - rims and tires? What do tires alone usually run - installed?

And on a 4x4 tractor remember that front and rear tire diameters need to be matched to a ratio. You can't just put bigger tires out back if you want to use 4x4.
