My dealer knew exactly what I would be experiencing with my new M6040 Kubota. He had been out to my place - to fish for bass.

My M6040 came with Rim Guard in the rears - free. I've added a HD Rhino 950 rear blade on the 3-point. I VERY SELDOM have any difficulties lifting HEAVY objects with my grapple. I have both a log weight chart and a rock weight chart. These are both available, free, on the internet.

There is no need to experiment with your FEL and damage something or be involved in an accident.

I wished mine had filled rears. I loose traction on occasion. With the backhoe it's not usually a problem. But with a box blade it becomes more obvious. B.
