I have a question about front tires for a Yanmar 1300D. In the Yanmar operator guide and also service guide, they write to install tires 5-12 (normally 20.7 overall diameter)
On the web site of Hoye tractor parts, they sell for this tractor 5-12 (22 overall diameter). But on the same web site, if I goes on the "Research section for Tire sizes" it's written for the same tractor 5.00-12 Yanmar Tractor Tire Sizes (normally 22.8 overall diameter)
Actually, I have 5.00-12 but the overall diameter is now 22 because they are used. Is there somebody who can tell me what I supposed to install on this tractor ? Or somedoby who have the same tractor and can tell me which tires are install ?

I think your looking at two different tire sizes. a 5-12 is not the same as 5.00/12. Here is another thread on subject for a 1301. My service manual on the 135 and 155 shows 5-12 and optional as 6-12 tires. The manual doesn't say how tall the tire is. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/yanmar/248411-will-6-12-tyres-fit.html

You need someone with a 1300d parts manual to take a look. The parts manual will give the correct size. Personally, I think it is important to keep the ratio correct if you use 4 wheel drive very much.
