After taking my tire chains off the rear wheels of my L3710 (4x4 HST) noticed they had rubbed a bit on the lower link. After reviewing the owners manual concerning rear tire width I realize that my rear tires were installed in the narrowest possible configuration (46.5" from center to center of tire). The way I read the manual, by taking the rear tires off and seperating the wheel from the inner disk, then reversing or turning the disk, it will then point outward, instead of inward, and allow for increased tire width. This not only would stop the tire chains from rubbing, but increase the tractors stability on slopes as well. Is my thinking correct, and any possible disadvantages to above?
