hey MJB,

who made your new tires?

those 43 x 16.00 - 20 may be what I'm looking for to replace the turf tires on my MF without having the expense of buying new rims.

The new tires look great! Do you see any difference when mowing? What else do you use the 4300 for?

The new tires, like the old ones, are made by Titan tire.

The new tires have to have more flotation than the old ones. However, it has rained so much around here the last few weeks that I have not even attempted to mow the normally soft areas in my lawn. I actually put more hours on the tractor with the backhoe than I do mowing. I am looking forward to the extra mobility the higher ground clearance and better flotation will offer. I have not had a chance to try them with the loader or backhoe yet due to the aforementioned rain./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

So far all I have used my 4310 for is loader and BH work and the oversized R4's worked great. It has been very wet in Central NY also... a dramatic difference was noticed on a mowed field when a neighbor came back with his tractor (a NH about the same size with AG tires) he left big "imprints" in the ground... the 4310 hardly a mark... yet traction was good! I'm sure if it came to a "tug of war" he should have better traction... but for general use the oversized R4's are a winner!
