Tire sealant ?

/ Tire sealant ? #11
My Century is similar in size to your L3130, so this is close enough. Rear tires took a full gallon of slime and they put a half gallon in each front tire.

No problems with the tires in 50 hours since I slimed. Flats on all tires within the first couple of hours. I think it's the black locust trees.

I also slimed my backhoe front tire. It had a slow leak so I added slime. Worked fine for two weeks, then I was down to the rim one morning. Turns out the slime loosened an old plug in the tire that was leaking slowly. The hole was too big to replug, slime ruined the tire for a patch and I had to put a tube in. If the tube fails I might foam.

One of the rear tires on the bachhoe is slowly leaking now. It's so big I'm thinking 2 gallons of slime will be needed.

The backhoe is a Ford/New Holland 555E.

Good Luck,
Eddie

Thanks for a the insights and info guys .
I think I'll either go with Slime , linseal , or Amerseal .
Something about the permanance of foam just bothers me .
Again thank you all , John

My L3130 has 10 gallons of slime total in all of the tires. Cost to have it put in was $160. I have just under thirty hours on the tractor and I have not had a flat yet. And I might add I've pulled some pretty nasty stuff off the tires.
