Tires Tire sealant - with tubes?

/ Tire sealant - with tubes? #21
Shortly after I got my B7610 back from the dealer for my backhoe install in 2009 the rear tires leaked down and I slimed them at the minimum rate. Several times since then I've noticed a LITTLE slime leakage but not much, and they still hold air well.

I stuck a stick thru one of my front tires on my M9000. It was about 3/8 inch or so. I really had my doubts if slime would handle a hole that big. I pumped it in and moved the tractor so the hole was on the bottom and let it sit for a few minutes. It leaked out about a spoon full and has never leaked again. Slime is wonderful stuff.

So anyone with experience with slime, how much of a mess is it? Say if you get a hole that needs to be patched? What if you want to change tires, how much of a mess does it make of the rims?

Last time I changed tires on my 4 wheelers it wasn't that bad. I guess if you have a gallon or more now it might get messy. Did nothing to my wheels that I could see. I have yet to see a real down side to using slime.
