KUBOTA L3000DT, FEL.
i had checked everything but the tire pressure. i noticed my L3000DT felt pretty firm.
i was thinking about this, and then it hit me. i checked the manual, and it said front
23 psi, rear 14 psi. i checked the rear, and it had 30 psi, and the front was a little
high also. do they do this for shipping? i bled down to the proper pressure, and it feels
better. anybody have this problem?

Sure did. The rear tires had 30 psi in them when the tractor was delivered. I didn't think to check it right then, but caught it a few weeks later and dropped them down (the max. is supposed to be 20 psi). The fronts were a little overinflated too, but I forget by how much.

My Jeep Wrangler came about 25-30 pSI OVER MAX.

Kubota's weren't too far off. You'd think they'd come off the rim at that high of pressure. On the other hand I sometimes wonder how they stay ON the rim at the lower pressure too.

The "pre checks" are supposed to correct this I believe. Whenever I see stuff like this I always wonder what else they missed.
