I got my Kubota BX stuck a couple of days ago in the snow. It just didn't seem like I was getting any traction with the front tires. I then remembered at the end of the summer I was doing some heavy end loader work. The factory tire pressure is something like 15 psi for the front, and when doing heavy loader work, they get pretty flat looking, so I bumped them up to 30 psi. Needless to say this didn't help out in the snow at all so I lowered them to 20 psi.

I generally run my fronts at 30-35lbs (loader work) and do nothing with them for the winter. And my rears at 15lbs year round. I have the fronts running backwards to lessen tire wear on pavement. I have R-4's

I do a lot of (bumpy) road travel so keep my tires low for comfort. R4's are 10psi rear, 15psi front on both tractors. Once lowered the fronts to 10psi on the 4720, great cushy ride until a tire popped off the rim on a hard turn.
