Does anyone else have problems with the front tires holding air? My SC2400 is a little over a year old. shortly after I bought it I had one tire that would go flat after a couple of days. I checked it with soapy water and it had a leak around the rim that went about a 1/4 the way around the tire. I took the wheel back to the dealer and they remounted it and put sealer around the rim. Got back home and the same tire started leaking again. When I had some time last fall I took it to a local tire place this time and had the tire remounted and still have the same problem. I really haven't had time to mess with it and just keep airing it up. Now the other front tire has started leaking. It has a slower leak and will hold air for a couple of weeks. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem? I would guess there is a bad spot in the rim or maybe a bubble in the paint that is causing the leak.

This is the only problem I have seen in 75 hours of operation. It is a handy little tractor and has become my go to machine

I am having the same issue, mine is the right front tire. I have not taken the tire in, just keep pumping it up with the air compressor every couple weeks.

I bought mine late last year, has about 50 hours on it.

Can't say I've had that issue with mine.

I do feel the tires are mediocre quality however.
I did have one rear tire replaced by my dealer because it was showing weather type cracks on the sidewall after only 6 months. The fronts look the same now although it hasn't been an issue. Perhaps it's normal considering the loads they endure on such small tires.

Went to my local tire shop today. Owner says he gets about 10 to 12 tires a day. Put 32 lbs of air in the tire and could not find the leak. Put a tube in it and $19 later and I am all set.

my lt1045 kept losing air from one front tire. I let air out of the tire.. unseated the tire.. but left on rim. Then ran a bead of RTV around the lip of the wheel after cleaning it. I then reseated the tire... standard pressure.. no problem for 2 years.

One thing I learned is making tight turns will work the tire on the rim and make it lose air quicker...

I noticed about a month ago on my Sc2400 that my left front tire has started to leak. I don't see any holes or anything sticking out. I do notice that there are a bunch of cracks on the tire like it's already started to dry rot. I've had it almost a yr now but the tires have looked that way from day one.

I've just been putting air in but I figure I'll put a tube in it and be done with it until I replace the tires. I thought about switching to the Ag tires instead of the industrial tires.
