My new T2310 has just arrived. I want to put a set of chains on it for winter. There's not much clearance between the tire and fender. I'm wondering if anyone out there has put chains on this model [2310,2320,3040,3045,TC40A,TC45A] and if the fender clearance has been a problem?

I had to remove the inner rear wheel splash guards on my TC40S to mount some fairly heavy chains. They would just not clear the guards without rubbing. I didn't want to turn my wheels to the wide mount position because they would be outside my bucket edges. Not good for snow clearing.

I had a 1710 with turf tires which had little clearance. The chains I used on that rig were not really heavy and I had to keep them tight to clear everything. Bungee cords can help keep slack out of them.

My factory tires had a label on them as to which side faced the tractor, so i did not think the rims could be flipped. Since there was some different offset if they were flipped I had enough room for the chains. I had to scour the manual and there was a section that said that you could flip the tires. So I flipped 'em and pur my heavy duty chains on with plenty of room to the fenders.

Maybe read the manual really thoroughly of call the dealer and ask.
