I would like a tipping trailer to go behind the tractor. Ideally I like to be able to fill it, tow it and dump with leaving the seat, I don't know if this is possible.
I could build something similar to the one I built for someone else just not as big (see pic). I would put a remote control winch in stead of a manual one.
I could also just build a solid trailer and tip it with the fel, I don't think that would be the most efficient though.
I don't have remotes so I can't hydraulicly tip anything, and I would be forever disconnecting and reconnecting them.

What would everybody else do in this situation?

Battery operated 12v hydraulic pump with remote control on the trailer.

I built one for going to the dump in 1990... it is a stake side with a 5x9 box... even towed my American Bantam on it once.

Being a single axle make it much easier as the axle is my pivot...

For the hydraulics I modified a camper jack... it works slick but does take some pumping of the handle to dump.

It is not in a good spot to take a picture but will next time I make it up the cabin...

The trailer tongue is securely attached to the trailer axle... and when the box is done I have a pin to secure.

If money was no problem I'd use a commercial built dump trailer with 12 volt hydraulic pump. If money is more of a problem I'd settle for a similar design as pictured but with an electric winch. The other and cheapest options would be as pictured or a regular trailer you dump with the FEL.

That could be an option but running into a lot of $$$

My former employer just sold off 27 battery powered pallet jacks for $125 apiece. Start perusing craig's list, auctions, etc.... deals are out there.

I've been thinking similar lines; I'd like a tipping trailer too, and even though I have aux hydraulics, the hose and connector add up.

What about a pull cable attached to the 3-point? so when you lift the 3-point hitch, cable is pulled up and the trailer tips.
Obviously, it would be pulling up against the trailer ball..

To add to this then set it up so that when you back up the rear of the trailer digs into the ground and dumps the load.

It would have to be a tiny trailer to work. I had a frameless dump trailer. It didn't work. Although It would have worked better with this idea.

I suppose it would depend on the 3-point power / difference in leverage. But yeah, I see your point.
My 3-point hitch is 3.5 tons, and there would be at least a 4X disadvantage. So for all that effort it would have less than a ton of lift for the trailer bed.

The OPs tractors 3 point hitch only lifts 675 pounds.

My frameless dump trailer without lift assist didn't work either. Leverage is really bad while the trailers is flat and the wheels usually skidded.

Look here for the classic (post war) Dutch klapkar, or slap-cart. It dumped on gravity, and once empty it would roll back by gravity too. Sort of like a trip bucket on front loaders of the same era.

Search CL and facebook pages or junk yards for a used hydraulic unit from something, I found one from a lift gate for $75. They are out there if you look, new ones with power up, gravity down can be had for around 3 bills. Not too shabby if it will save you a ton of time, I would imagine with some thought it could be wireless remote operated.

Will your Ferrari handle a big enough trailer that you could load with the BX?

General thoughts on designs that I see;

Most trailers I see that self dump are balanced and sit high off the ground. The axle being centered under the load with the pivot point in the same centered position means that at least half the load will be helping the trailer dump. On the trailer design below, the load is no help, pretty much the whole load has to be lifted to dump.

The balanced trailers sit high, so the tail hanging out the rear beyond the axle will dump completely before hitting the ground. Shorter trailer means lower to the ground.

I have a trailer at work that tilts more than it dumps. It also has a centered balanced axle position. It's very easy to move around by hand. It tilts more than dumping because it's so low to the ground, so the tail hits the ground before the angle can get high enough for dumping material. So it's good for loading rolling stock, not dumping material.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far.
I don't think using 3pl is an option because I want to be able to quickly attach and removing the trailer, and because of limited lift capacity.
I will look for 2nd hand 12v hydraulics but I have never seen anything like it for sale around here before.
The ferrari may be an option be still need to dump somehow.
I had thought about the 'digging' the rear of the trailer into the ground for tipping but you not really going to tip all your load.
For ease and $$$ a 12v winch on a mast like the other one I built maybe be the best.
