When I put water in the golf cart batteries there are 18 or 24 1 inch holes that need a controlled fill. I use an awl to poke a hole in the cap of many plastic water bottles (16oz) and just point and squeeze. Using a flashlight with the other hand helps illuminate the water level in the hole. This makes quick and easy work of the task.

With the price of bottled water, this is cheaper and more convenient.

If I tried to self bind my ratchet straps I’d probably get my finger or tongue stuck.

I worry that straightening up my strap mess will lead to an addiction for neatness and order in all things.
They are cool ideas though. What the hell Im going for it. Ya know what they say. First ones free.

I too use appropriately sized plastic bags for my ratchet straps. I've lots of straps. Some of those 4" x 27' require large bags, the little 1"x10' will often fit in a ziploc type sandwich bag.

I just use the big box store cheap bags. Even double bag them to prevent blowouts. Jon

I use 50 cal ammo cans for small straps and 40 MM ammo cans for the big ones, all tied with those tiny bungees with the ball. Water tight and all contained. Grab the can and go or usually already in the cross box.

While there are certainly elements "Make Mikey try it", I think that, like Mikey, you will be surprised at how good it is. I suspect someone is a great cook, or she wouldn't be trying it. Sour cream is a great addition, too.
