Loose hammer handle. Do you have a hammer, axe, maul, sledge hammer with a loose handle? Just soak the thing in water for a couple of days. This just happened at my work. We had a 3 lb hammer with a good handle, just really loose where the head attach's and we dropped it in a water tank for weekend and it tightened right up.

The only problem with that trick is it does not last. When the wood swells it crushes the wood fibers and when it dries out it is worse than before. Its much better to re wedge it in my opinion. You can make a new wedge with a bandsaw in a minute.

At work, we have a very limited amount of tools, so we would need to buy the wedges.
