TinyTach question??

I agree, nice install. For an alternative to velcro, check out my posting on tiny tach. In it, I show a picture of mounting it lower on the rubber molding below the dash on a 1 1/2 inch piece of angle aluminum. This position has worked very well to allow quick viewing.

Does the tiny tach require external power? If so what wire did you use?

Did you paint the transducer? If so did you use heat resistant paint?

Thanks.

Hey Huskerfan,

I added a toggle just like you did but when I bought my toggle switch, I also bought a toggle switch cover. It's made of rubber and screws on the toggle switch. It was a buck or two for it. Thought it would help keep out the weather and dust. Just an FYI...

Not a bad way to go, thanks for the tip!

Best way is to tap into an unused area from the fuse block or you could go straight from the battery and add your own fuse holder.

I just purchased a tiny tach for my BX22TLB but I am not sure of the hook up. Does or can anyone give this novice a set of pictures, instructions, etc on how to hook this thing up. I am really not sure about the battery hook up and the fuse block. The engine block ground is pretty straight forward.

Thanks for helping a newbie out (had my BX22 for 3 months and have loved every minute of it /w3tcompact/icons/love.gif Love that Orange)
