Kubota B2620
I am looking at buying a new kubota. Stopped at a dealer 60mi from home who was having a sale. Sold out of the b2920 and only had one b2620 left. Quoted 13,000 for the tractor and was right on msrp for nine other attachments. Even quoted 1000.00 dollars higher then msrp for the 63" snowblower. [Thats a sale!] Said kubota has stopped making the 20 series and that was all he had. The new replacement tractors will be with the new epa mandated engine. He didn't have any and didn't know when the new series would be arriving. Not interested in this new engine as I have read that there has been problems with them. Stopped at the dealer who serves my tractor two wks ago and he wasn't much better. Only about 5% of msrp. I generally stay in the back ground and read and learn from the post. I like to deal locally but these dealers don't want to deal. So with all that being said Its time to call Barlows. I have read numerous post how good they are with prices and all the satisfied customers they have. I know all tractor deals are different, but can some of you tell me the general percentage that they give off the msrp. Would have to do 0% for 60mo for some of the price. Also would it be better to sell my tractor out right or trade. I have heard the Barlows is pretty descent with there trade in price. Any info on the above would be helpful especially form the satisfied Barlow buyers. I could have spiced this up if I could have put some of those funny faces in. Better at using my hands at building things then pushing these keys. Thanks and any input is greatly appreciated.

They do have excellent pricing on new and trades. Only problem I had was that they were slow to respond to e-mails, and the end of year incentives were coming to a close, so I ended up buying from local dealer.

I would put a call into Messick's Kubota as well, 877-260-3528.

Thanks I will try Messicks. I have talked to them before about attachments and stopped at the Carlie dealership. They were very friendly and answered all my questions.

I've bought 16 from Barlows plus traded them a used B7100 I bought last fall from an individual, which was/is Kubota number 17, last week.
They, I've read, have an incredible amount of requests for pricing since they seem to set the prices for the lower end in the US which seems to have resulted in some delays in responding. My understanding is they keep in contact once they make the initial contact. Some have complained because they don't drop all other business to respond to that call. I'm one of the guys sitting in their office trying to buy while those calls keep coming in and some times it's like musical chairs for me so Steve can deal with some of the others standing around waiting to see him. He never rushes me, once I get in and I appreciate that. Hear that's the same way with their on line and calling process, once you wait your turn and get "in" your their only customer.

Barlow's and Messick's are both fine and well regarded here, but neither has magic access to additional Tier III tractors.

The first Tier IV tractors arrived about 18 months ago. This transition is not new.

I do wish you good luck.

In terms of pricing, the Tier iV tractors are quite a bit more expensive than Tier III, about 15% - 20% more. The new emissions technology is expensive. If you find a Tier III tractor acceptable to you do not quibble at 5% or 8% off MSRP or you will pay considerably more for a Tier IV qualified model.

Spring is neigh. Whatever Tier III inventory is left will sell very soon.

Good thought, Beggers can't be chosers either.

I Would not be surprised to pay more than msrp for tier III. Basic supply and demand.

Havent made the call to Barlows yet. But did call Messicks and they are working on a quote. Only have one 2920. Salesman did say that kubota is discontinuing the 2920 but still would be able to buy the 2620. Only reason I want the 2920 was for more hp when running a 63" snowblower. The 2620 would be fine have read that a couple owners on here use the 63" blower with a 2620. Would like to have a set of forks with the quick hitch. Its more of a want and not a need for a new tractor. I dont need to pay a higher price for something thats a want and not a need. If price is not there then I will keep what I have It works for me. Thanks to all who have responded to this post all the information is very help full.

I'm keeping the B2620 for now. With Kubota offering the 0% for 60 months it makes it hard to trade with one as new as mine. Most customers want/need the financing so that itself makes a new one around $3000 lower than a used one (at the same price) when the buyer is financing. Many people have issues with Kubota 0% believing it isn't 0% which it isn't if you add/subtract the cash back for cash but it's miles past the interest charged by lending institutions fot products.
Example: BX25 $17000 new 0% 60 mo is $283.33 mo. vs $17000 - $700 cash discount =$16300 @8% 60 mo $330.51=$19,830. http://www.bankrate.com/calculators/mortgages/amortization-calculator.aspx There's $2830 difference buying with cash that has to be borrowed. Now some people have the cash laying there and don't know how to invest or use it to make a decent return and for them cash is the only way to go. Most people don't have an abundance of cash laying around so for us/those the 0% is a true incentive. Plus the current cash bonus of $750 back after the deal is made on the B and BX which applies to both examples.
I didn't trade my B2620 for the BX25 but I did trade the B7100 to other "stuff".

I highly recommend dealing with Brady Barlow. I have bought/traded on three different occasions and have been highly satisfied every time.
In comparing the deal with locals he always beats the deal, both on trade in value and cost of new machine. Regardless of whether or not you use Kubota's zero percent financing or the cash rebate, Barlow's will make you a deal that in my experience is the best around.

He does sometimes take awhile to return emails, but it is worth the wait and he will get to everyone.

Good luck!

I concur with above having bought last year from Barlow's. I really wanted to buy local, gave local dealers every opportunity for my business but it did not work out. Sorry, a local dealer is worth some cash but not $2K. Do not forget attachments, they supplied a high end DirtDog boxblade also discounted about 20%.
Barlow's web site requires you to state your price for the exact machine you want; I gave a price I was willing to pay for the machine delivered to my residence. The answer came back within an hour or so saying, yes we can do that. I added the boxblade after the fact and was pleasantly surprised at their quoted price for it. Another satisfied Barlow's customer.

Does anyone know what are their distance limits for delivery (south Florida)?

/ Time to call Barlows #16
I'm pretty sure they won't deliver to Cuba. I don't think they have a distance limit for continental United States.

Now I know that if I move to Cuba they are out, but I will give them a call and see what they can do. Thanks!

They delivered to me twelve hours north with a fair delivery price. I liked dealing with them. Told them what I wanted and they gave me a price, done. They said I should rethink the auger size and they were right. They didn't have one item and delivered a couple weeks later, no charge on delivery.

Straight forward, no bs. I'd buy from them again.
