Time for valve adjustment

I have a L3940HST that has reached 800 hours. One of the 800 hour maintenance checks is the valve clearance. The valve cover sits right below the fuel tank and it doesn't look like you can get the valve cover off let alone have enough room to work in there. I'm wondering if anyone has done this on their tractor and might have some suggestions as to how to go about doing it. Thanks. Bill

My L4060hstc is at 750 hours or so. Was in at the dealer for front axle seals/bearings just before the warranty expired. Had them do the valves then. Took them a while to remove the DPF & other gear to get to the valve cover & valves.
